Daily Journal December 26, 1997, William Thomas Thompson. Little minds with big eyes of powerful people lead us. This Friday morning is the morning after the big day of the year. Christmas is mostly commercial now and more being called winter holidays with less respect for its meaning of spiritual value? This is the day people get up early and rush the shopping malls hunting nothing for less money than before. Do they find it? We shall surely see the judgment of God poured out upon us. Today all those decorations come down to be put upstairs for another year. This is lots of work but I am exempt as I would only be in the way of such a project. I will work on the bus. I have a very good helper Gentry who already fixed the gear shift before I arrived plus a dozen more items fixed. Another was on top washing the body of the bus inside and outside and all over. Let the world repent and let the Lord rule our daily lives. I am enjoying writing this daily journal more now as it becomes apart of my daily routine and as I get more efficient with this new Canon Starwriter Jet 300 word processor. I have each day saved on disc. I will have a volume of copies made to give out. Let us fear and serve God Almighty day and night without end. All this is taking away vital time I should spend in Morning Prayer and exercise. I therefore wish to read scripture into this journal and write a prayer also into the text. Cor. II 5, 8- "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 9-Wherefore we labor, that, whether   present or absent, we may be accepted of Him. 10-For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; That everyone may receive the things done in the body, according to that he has done, whether it be good or bad." Bless the reading of thy word! My heart longs for thee Dear Lord, draw me closer to your will. My prayer is to the Lord God Almighty in Heaven that I may see and know your will today. May I Oh Lord surrender myself to thee. May I be ready to obey and available to do thy will. May I judge no person but focus my eyes on You Lord. I pray for grace to stand the trials of life and witness your love to one and to all. Let the world praise the true and living God every day. May I Dear Lord be willing to paint the everlasting Gospel and to speak with boldness from a heart that is broken to thy will to be a vessel filled with the great anointing of the living Lord, Amen. Enlighten thy people Dear Lord and deliver us from sin. Now I must again account for my time before God and man. What are my goals for today? Who needs help? Who will I pass by today that I can help? Do I show the love of God on my face and in my actions to everyone? Do I feel committed to help others as pleasing to God? I have no time to watch sports on T.V. or buddy with any others or play golf or tell jokes. I am busy in service to God. How wonderful you are Dear Lord, we are blessed to know you. What a joy to serve the Lord and to know Him first hand. Read the Bible daily and pray and meditate on the Word of God and it will bless you more than tongue can tell. Seek God and put him first in your daily life and live holy in mind and heart. Have peace and understanding in all things. Be at peace with thyself. Seek after righteousness and holiness without which no person will see the Lord. Read and study the entire Bible, it is the Word of God.  “Son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not,".
